Some Ancient Myths are Based in Historical Fact
Accounts of a global deluge are among the oldest human stories and occur across multiple cultures who had no possibility of contact prior to the industrial age. While there are various proposed explanation for the origin of this myth, the simplest one is the most likely one. To make a long story short, at the peak of the last ice age (around 19,000 BC) sea levels were over 100 meters lower than today. Consequently the coastline of world looked very different from today. For example- Australia, New guinea and Tasmania formed one continent and many islands in Indonesian archipelago were connected.
West European Political “Elites” are Delusional
West European countries no longer have the ability to build large infrastructure projects on time, on budget or without serious screwups? How will they keep their electricity grid running and reliable until then? What about industries who built their competitive advantage around cheap Russian natural gas? Magic pixie dust? But note that German politicians are pretending this won’t cause serious socio-economic problems and a ton of negative downstream effects.
Why do Mediocre Women Delude Themselves about Their Sexual Desirability
In other words, all those women who are patiently waiting for the tall, rich and handsome guy with a big dick rarely get anything beyond a series of short-term relationships. And it gets worse for those past their mid-30s, who end up in largely sexless relationships with some forgettable guy or a series of vibrators and cats thrown in with occasional short-term relationships. The point I am trying to make is that keeping faith in their delusion has no positive effect on the quality of their sexual lives.
