Part 1: Long-Term Effects of Epstein Revelations
As I have mentioned in some of my previous posts, the system in USA and West is now in a situation similar to what we saw in Eastern Europe during 1980s. The real question now is how, not if, they crumble and implode. While the precise timing and sequence of events is impossible to predict, it is fair to say that the fragmentary and heavily redacted releases from Epstein files have pushed the process a bit further along the path to the final outcome. Systems such as the ones in USA and EU are far more likely to crumble through increasing level of incompetence, dysfunction, loss of public trust and cynicism rather than some grand revolution or civil war.
Part 1- Predictions for 2026, 2027 and 2028
The vast majority of those occupying senior positions in Trump administration are going to be spending a lot on personal security, require asylum in other countries or be forced to abruptly retire from all public life after Nov 2028 or earlier- and those are the best case scenarios. While some others have talked about some members of current Trump administration such as JD Vance, Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem, Kash Patel, Scott Bessent, Stephen Miller etc not being able to have a worthwhile public career after 2028 (at the latest), the reality is much worse. To be fair, it was Trump who decided to hire these incompetent sycophants. However, their inability to moderate Trump’s dumbest ideas is going to haunt them and their families for years and decades.
Part 7- Fundamental Barriers for Widespread Adoption of Electric Vehicles
The sad fact is that a significant percentage of the supposedly “educated credentialed” class in West are too detached from reality and unwilling to accept that they are just not as important or relevant as they imagined- and will continue to indulge in all sorts of performative behavior to feel that way. They will keep doing that until the pushback caused by the consequences of their behavior (large-scale job loss, instability of electric grids, immiseration of general population etc) is strong enough to roll back this stupidity, but that won’t matter because rest of world will have moved past them.
