How Social Media Destroyed Holocaust Guilt

Nevertheless until the late 1990s and early 2000s, most people generally believed that the West was somehow responsible for the Holocaust- and then the internet started becoming ubiquitous. It was at that point an increasing number of people started getting their news from non main-stream media. While most people still think that the decline of mainstream began in the 2010s, I would argue that it actually started in the very late 1990s to early 2000s. Social media apps such as FakeBook, InstaThot, Twatter, TikTok etc just greased the wheels of what was an inevitable process.

Part 3- How to Identify Failing Nation States

Most countries in East Asia or even SE Asia have done very well, with the success of China being especially obvious. Russia has also done quite well since 2001. Now compare this to the trajectory of western “democracies”, which have suffered a multi-decade stagnation/regression in technological progress, living standards and most importantly of all- future expectations. While there are some systemic factors driving this stagnation/regression including such as demographical changes, it hard to deny that not a single western country is going in a direction of less dysfunction and more realistic hope.

Part 1- How to Identify Failing Nation States

The ability of a government to maintain laws, rules and order over the entirety of its territory is an obvious and useful proxy for whether the nation has failed or is in the process of failing. At this point, we should talk about one group of countries which can definitively be labeled as failed nation states- namely, every single country in south and central America. While this characterization might seem harsh and borderline racist, it is neither. The sad truth is that every country in Latin America is a failed nation state on multiple levels.

On one side you have grifters such as Ibram Kendi, Robin DiAngelo, less famous version of these grifters , almost every single HR and DEI employee in public and private sector. On the other side, you have grifters such as Chaya Raichik (Libs of TikTok), Twitter handles such as Babylon Bee, U.S. Ministry of Truth and Twitter personalities such as Jordan Schachtel, Michael Malice, Steven Crowder- not to mention old favorites such as Ben Shapiro, the Weinstein Brothers and a good part of the failed ‘Dark Enlightenment’ media and funder ecosystem. And yes, their surnames and obvious loyalties matter.

Part 2- How to Identify Failing Nation States

Another less obvious, but relevant, characteristic of failed or failing nation states is that their ruling class and elites are beholden to, or identify with, other nations or trans-national organizations. This is especially obvious in Latin American countries where the ruling class see themselves as somehow more racially pure and “whiter” than the general population. It is no secret, especially to those living in such countries, that their elites actively identify with European countries or USA rather than their own people.
